Rug Liberal gives your seating area instant warmth and atmosphere. The rug comes from the collection of Dutch interior design brand BePureHome and is characterised by the natural colour mix in the combination fabric of natural fibres: jute and cotton. Jute gives the rug a carefree look and the cotton ensures a comfortable grip, the best combination in our opinion!

Material
Jute is a plant-based material. The grass grows in a tropical environment, the jute fibres are extracted from the pith of the stems, then washed, dried, oiled and spun into yarn. The jute items in our collections are coarsely woven to achieve a robust look. Jute is quite stiff but can be coloured very well because of this, pigment adheres thoroughly to the coarse fibres.

Maintenance
Due to its vegetable origin, jute cannot be cleaned in the washing machine. Clean the jute item with a slightly damp brush with soft bristles. If the jute item has a coarsely woven pattern, it is recommended to clean the material with a soft cloth, the material can quickly 'splinter' or loop when subjected to rough handling. It is not recommended to treat the jute item again. Jute is 100% biodegradable, which makes the material very sustainable.

Delivery
The rug is delivered in one package. For extra security, it is recommended to attach an anti-slip rug to the underside of the rug, this will prevent slipping and accidents.
