A unique and robust design: that's what you bring into your home with this Oona dining table. The round dining table comes from the Exclusive collection of Dutch interior design brand WOOOD. With a generous tabletop of 120 cm, Oona offers space for 4 people. The table is made of MDF, with a tabletop finished with 3D paper. The dark brown finish with clear wood grains gives the dining table a warm appearance and fits well in a botanical, retro or boho interior.

Material

The MDF board material in our collections is formed from pressed wood fibres that are bonded under pressure using resin. As a result, this material has a very smooth surface.

3D paper is a material for creating a three-dimensional effect or texture on a tabletop, for example. This can be done by cutting, folding or printing the paper in layers or patterns to create a depth or relief effect. A piece of furniture finished with 3D paper furniture gives an artistic and unique look, but has limited structural strength and is susceptible to moisture and wear.

Maintenance

The advantage of pressed board material is that it will not splinter or warp. However, when unprocessed or damaged, this material is very sensitive to moisture and heat due to its highly absorbent properties. As a result, the MDF will expand and cannot return to its original state. For this reason, all our MDF items are thoroughly treated with a protective coating. Protect the table from hard and sharp materials to avoid scratches. The use of additional protection ensures that the table will not get scratched or stained, giving it a longer lifespan.

With proper maintenance, a 3D paper tabletop can be a long-lasting and attractive addition to your interior, but it requires care and protection from the elements. The color of the paper can fade over time if exposed to direct sunlight. If the 3D paper is not properly protected, the paint or ink on the paper may peel or fade. Paper is not naturally water-resistant, making it susceptible to damage when exposed to moisture or water. It may begin to wrinkle, warp or discolor if not properly protected. Since paper has a delicate texture, it is important to avoid placing sharp or heavy objects on the tabletop. Stains should be cleaned immediately with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid using harsh detergents as they may damage the paper.

Delivery

The article is delivered in two packages and comes with clear assembly instructions. To protect hard floors, place felt glides on the underside of the leg.
